Welcome to the Sutton Scotney consultation website
Winchester City Council require an allocation of 60 dwellings in Sutton Scotney. Whilst the community have not been consulted to date, WCC propose to allocate land north of the A30, known as ‘Brightlands.’
We believe however that we have an alternative version, Land South of Wonston Road, that integrates better with the village and can offer greater benefits to existing and future residents of Sutton Scotney.
Given that all alternative proposals should be consulted on we hoped to hear your input on a favoured site and with a view to introducing further benefits on and offsite to shape the future of Sutton Scotney.
We are Pennybar, a recently formed local developer that combines the planning and delivery skills of two well established residential developers with a proud track record of delivering schemes in Hampshire and West Berkshire. We believe each site is different and deserves a bespoke design approach to enhance local character. Our team is compiled to ensure quality design principles are seen through from conception to the finest detail of the built form, using sustainable materials and modern building methods.
We are committed to working with the local community to deliver a positive development that brings forward a range of benefits on a sustainable, well-connected site in Sutton Scotney.
Our development of 44 houses on a former Bryan Hirst yard in St Mary Bourne was completed in 2023 and showcases our most recent local work.
